April 5, 2011 - National Edition
Construction Equipment Guide

There are more than 8,000 plants in operation worldwide as part of the Astec family and the number is growing.

Since it was founded in 1972, Astec has grown to become a world leader in asphalt plant production. Among the 8,000 Astec plants are plants and components produced by Astec acquisitions Barber-Green, McCarter, Esstee and Dillman. Astec supports all these plants — some that have been in operation for more than 40 years — with parts and service.
