More than 3,800 bidders participated online and in person at Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers’ multi-million dollar unreserved public equipment auction in Houston, Texas., on April 16 and 17.

Bidders came from 59 countries, including 48 U.S. states. More than 50 percent of the equipment was sold to out-of-state buyers, from as far away as Belgium, Guatemala and the United Arab Emirates. Online bidders purchased 44 percent of the equipment sold (by dollar value).

In total, more than 3,700 equipment items were sold in the auction, including 80 plus hydraulic excavators, 50 plus cranes, a large selection of oilfield transportation equipment and more.
