Altorfer Inc. has named Dan Schmalshof the new ag equipment sales representative for western Illinois.
Schmalshof will represent the Challenger and LEXION product lines in Henderson, Warren, Knox, Peoria, Hancock, McDonough, Fulton, Schuyler and Brown counties.
Most recently, Schmalshof worked for the Burlington Northern Santé Fe Railroad in Galesburg, Ill., as yard master, and worked part time for Country Financial selling crop insurance.
Altorfer Inc. welcomes Schmalshof and his family to the company, and looks forward to working with him, according to the company.
