February 17, 2011 - National Edition
Construction Equipment Guide

Auger Torque recently introduced the Model 3000 MAX auger drive unit for skid steer loaders and compact excavators. Available with either 2-9/16 in. round or 2 in. hex (6.5 or 5 cm) output shafts, the 3000 MAX delivers 2,139 ft. lbs. of torque at 3,400 psi. Its required hydraulic flow range is from 7 to 20 gpm (26.5 to 75.7) and will handle auger bits from 4 to 24 in. (10 to 61 cm) in diameter.

All Auger Torque drive units feature, non dislodgement shafts (NDS), so output shafts cannot break free, an important benefit contributing to a long life of trouble-free service. An available skid steer universal mounting frame has side shift capability for maximum versatility.

Auger Torque products are produced and distributed worldwide from manufacturing facilities situated in England, Australia and Asia. MDS, New Holland, Pa., is now stocking Auger Torque products.
