Tower crane manufacturer Linden Comansa closed the Bauma trade show, the most important for the construction machinery sector, surpassing its already high expectations. A large sales and technical delegation traveled to Munich from the factory in Huarte (Spain) to meet a large number of clients, distributors and potential future customers.

Also attending Bauma were Linden Comansa’s representatives from Comansa Jie (China) and Linden Comansa America (United States). Linden Comansa America proudly announced during Bauma that through their dealer Heede Southeast Inc. they have sold the largest flat-top tower crane in North America. The 30 LC 1450 48t was sold to the Paducah-McCracken County Riverport Authority, in Kentucky. The new 30 LC 1450 will replace the Riverport’s Swedish Linden 8000, which was the first flat-top tower crane in the United States back in 1970s.

One of the higher tower cranes at fair was Linden Comansa’s 16 LC 260 12t. Erected with a hook height of 61.6 meters, this crane has been acquired by the distributor in Germany, BKL Baukran Logistik GmbH. The company participated in the fair as a co-exhibitor of Linden Comansa. Also exhibited at Bauma was a LCL 165 8t luffing-jib crane, with a height under hook of 14.6 meters, and whose next destination will be Bangkok, Thailand, where six other Linden Comansa luffers are already working.
