On Aug. 20 and 21 Benchmark Tool & Supply hosted the Topcon Technology Roadshow in Charlotte. James River Equipment partnered with Benchmark and supplied John Deere machines.
Topcon is taking the show on the road with its 53-ft. (16.1 m) traveling truck, showcasing technology in the construction, survey, civil engineering, architecture and design industries. Many guests spent a few hours in hands-on demonstrations and valuable educational sessions looking over the technologies that can help with workflow and productivity.
Live demos and classroom presentations, plus hands-on experiences with the latest technologies and products, allowed many contractors to learn about the latest industry technologies in machine control, scanning, BIM and survey applications.
The Technology Roadshow was perfect for contractors, engineers and surveyors. Many contractors commented that times are changing and adopting new technologies to meet the growing demands of today’s world will enhance their businesses. During the event, Benchmark and Topcon showed what technology can do on the job site, and provided information that will help the guests decide what type of system or technology is the best for them.
