Bobcat Company has expanded its dealer network with the addition of Williams Equipment & Supply as an authorized rental, sales and service provider of Bobcat equipment.

For 60 years, Williams Equipment & Supply has served customers in the construction, agriculture and government markets. The new location in Byhalia is the 12th location for the Williams Equipment enterprise.

James Williams founded the Williams Equipment & Supply enterprise in 1961. The company currently has dealerships in four states, including Tennessee, Mississippi, Arkansas and Louisiana. Williams Equipment & Supply prides itself on opening dealerships in smaller towns. By bringing a broad range of equipment, supply and rental products, the dealerships give customers outside of the metropolitan area advantages in price, availability and local service.

"We learned that customers don’t want to drive long distances or through heavy traffic," said Gordon McIntyre, president of Williams Equipment & Supply. "Being 15 minutes from the hot development in DeSoto, Marshall and Fayette counties will be a big plus to contractors, land owners and local municipalities."

The Williams Equipment Byhalia location will distribute Bobcat equipment throughout southeastern Memphis and northwestern Mississippi.
