Bobcat of Jacksonville Opens New 10,000-Sq.-Ft. Branch

Bobcat of Jacksonville’s recently opened Jacksonville, Fla., branch covers the northeast Florida and southeast Georgia markets. They will have equipment for sale or rent as well as full parts and in-shop and in-the-field service.

The company occupies a 10,000-sq.-ft. (929 sq m) facility at 11657 Phillips Highway on the south side of the city. The facility includes office space, a full parts department as well as indoor service bays. In addition, there is an extensive yard area for storage of equipment.

Tim Stokes, partner and general manager, will head up the operation and working with him will be Robert Mills, parts and service manager, Chris Lamb, rentals and inside sales, Marty Oscarson and Tim Mertz, outside sales, and Michael Knowles, service technician. Tim’s brother Mike is a partner in the company but not involved in day-to-day operation of the company.

Tim brings with him more than 17 years of experience in the equipment industry, having been general manager of Alachua Tractor which handled New Holland skid steer loaders and tractor loader backhoes. He also worked for a few years with a construction company.

“We plan to partner with the construction industry by providing superior service to our customers,” stated Stokes. “We provide full shop and field service as well as equipment rentals and sales and we have a good inventory of attachments for rent for the Bobcats.”

In addition to the full line of Bobcat equipment and attachments the company will represent the Echo line of tools and Skagg and BadBoy mowers.
