Bobcat of Lancaster, a division of Lift Inc., celebrated the newly completed expansion of its Ephrata, Pa., facility with an open house on Nov. 10.
Attendees explored the expanded space, which includes a front/side porch for displays of larger items, extra showroom space for the smaller equipment; additional parts inventory storage space; and 3,600 sq. ft. (334 sq m) of space for the service shop.
A conference room has been added to the upstairs section of the building and outside there is a 22-ft. illuminated sign that highlights a “backyard” display of equipment.
In addition, guests were given prize tickets as they entered and winners were announced every half hour throughout the event. A local Amish businessman, Joel Fisher, served up a full chicken barbeque lunch, complete with whoopie pies, a Lancaster county specialty.
Bobcat of Lancaster stocks its new location with Bobcat compact equipment, SkyTrak (JLG) rough terrain forklifts, CAM trailers, Scag commercial mowers and Stihl and Wacker power equipment. Parent company Lift Inc. carries Toyota and Crown forklift trucks, scissor and boom lifts from JLG, Upright and Genie, Serco dock equipment, Wayne Dalton doors and SMH parts. CEG
