Case Construction Equipment has released a Case-branded hydraulic quick coupler for its wheel loaders. The new coupler maintains compatibility with current buckets and attachments. It is now available through Case dealers as a factory-installed option or as a dealer installation to retrofit machines in the field.

The hydraulic coupler is available for use on Case 521E, 621E, 721E and 821E wheel loaders and all configurations of those wheel loader models.

Operators will benefit from the Case hydraulic coupler while working on jobs that require the use of multiple attachments. Those doing road and bridge work will find switching from buckets for material handling to brooms for cleanup is quick and easy. Switching from forks to transport pipe to a boom to position a manhole and back to a bucket for backfilling will speed productivity on sewer and water projects. All these attachment changes can be done easily from the seat of the cab, according to the manufacturer.

“The hydraulic coupler is manufactured to Case specifications and is fully supported by Case dealers across North America,” said Mitchell Blake, Case brand marketing manager. “Being supported by 375 Case dealers provides our customers the uptime assurance they expect.”

Blake noted that the coupler is compatible with Case rapid-fill buckets, which feature a five-degree angle to the floor plate for easier transition of material to the back of the bucket for increased production. The Case bucket design also features a longer lip and “knife edge” for easier penetration into the pile.

The Case hydraulic quick coupler accepts an array of attachments. The most popular wheel loader attachments include general purpose buckets, forks, 4-in-1 buckets, scrap grapple buckets, side dump buckets, brooms and jib booms.
