Cashman Power Solutions and Global Pump are now partners in meeting the dewatering needs of construction, mining and industrial customers throughout Nevada and parts of California.

Global Pump, a Michigan-based company, provides pumps and accessories to the highly specialized and complex needs of the industrial/ manufacturing sector worldwide. From planned and unplanned outages to construction and expansion, as well as emergency dewatering to backup water supply systems, Cashman Power is confident that Global Pump products are the most efficient and rugged solutions for customers.

“We researched various pump manufacturers for a year,” said Joel Larson, Cashman Power Solutions general manager. “We started with four companies, then narrowed it down to two. The input of our customers and our own employees, plus the efficiency and competitive pricing of Global Pump, made the choice simple in the end.”

Cashman Power’s field service technicians are currently being trained to service and support the Global Pump products. With existing knowledge of the Cat engines, customers will receive local response to routine and emergency situations by experts who can get them up and running in a timely manner.

“We have a huge opportunity in this market,” Larson said. “With mines often using 100 to 300 pumps per site, and no similar product available from Caterpillar, we are confident this addition will allow us to be a complete pump and power resource for our customers.”

Additionally, Cashman Power Solutions current business model is based heavily on emergency response capabilities, so they’re well situated to add pump products that also require immediate service support. The company is currently in the process of hiring a specialized pump sales representatives, as well as a pump systems engineer to assist its sales and service personnel.
