Caterpillar Inc has announced that fleet managers can buy or lease an eligible Cat machine with a guaranteed fuel burn rate thru December 31, 2015.

For three years or 5,000 service hours after the equipment purchase, Caterpillar will track the actual fuel burn using Cat® Product LinkTM and send quarterly emails comparing the two rates. At the end of each year, if the actual fuel burn exceeds the guaranteed rate, feel managers will get a credit of 1 USD/gallon or 1 CAD/liter in the form of a Cat Financial Commercial Account Card.

REGISTER YOUR MACHINE

To participate in the program, all you need is the serial number of each registered machine plus some basic contact information: 1) a business phone number in case the company need to verify registration, 2) a business address where Caterpillar can send a Commercial Account card if the owner qualifies for a credit, and 3) an email address where the company can send quarterly fuel burn statements to. Participants in the program have to make sure the machine is enrolled within 60 days of the invoice date.
