From scrap-, material-, and wood-handling yards to any type of port loading and unloading operation, Chadwick-BaRoss Inc. now offers a new product line to help customers throughout New England accomplish their tasks in a more productive, cost-efficient manner. It’s the complete Fuchs MHL and RHL lines of loading machines from Terex.
“The Fuchs line is well recognized and includes purpose-built, material handling machines,” said Dan Rott, Chelmsford branch manager. “We expect customers will use the machines primarily in scrap yards and secondarily at waste- and wood-material operations, including waste-transfer stations.”
Rott said the Fuchs slogan “Built for the Purpose” is very apparent in the products.
“With low operating costs, flexibility with quick set ups and maneuvering, long service life, various safety features and excellent fuel economy, these machines will definitely affect bottom lines for our customers in a positive way.”
The longer service life, said Rott, ensures more productivity. They are duty-cycle machines with all components and structures designed around 90-percent duty cycle work.
Fuchs machines can be equipped with generators and magnets or grapples ranging in size from .8 to 1.85 cu. yds.
“They are specifically designed for the industry. A number of interested customers have already contacted us,” noted Rott.
