CMG Construction LLC, a privately-owned company specializing in heavy development and structural work for commercial and civil infrastructure projects nationwide, announced plans to open new offices and add staff as it continues to experience growth in Montana and across the country.

CMG will open an office in Bozeman, Mont., for a new traveling heavy civil division, tapping into a growing market for major utility and infrastructure projects such as dams, powerhouses, mass grading projects, highways, bridges and treatment plants across Western Montana, Idaho and Wyoming.

The new division will be led by B. Philip Martin, a project manager with 30 years of experience in major civil projects, who joins CMG after holding executive and project management positions at heavy civil construction companies including McMillen Jacobs Associates and Barnard Construction.

“With decades of industry experience, Phil is uniquely qualified to manage our new Bozeman operation and engage new clients in the region,” said Justin Peterson, CMG general manager. “We are thrilled to have someone with Phil's experience and professionalism leading our Bozeman team.”

CMG project bookings continue to be strong in 2017 and the company remains on track meet or exceed its revenue goals for the year, according to the company. Montana-based CMG is known for some of the area's most high-profile projects, including the Yellowstone Club, Dehler Park, Tippet Rise Art Center, Shiloh Conservation Area and the James F.
