Genesis Attachments has named Long Beach, Calif.-based Coastline Equipment as its authorized dealer for south-central California, representing Genesis from Los Angeles to Bakersfield.

“We are excited to have the opportunity to bring Genesis Attachments to the customers we serve in this region,” said Tom Michael, Coastline’s general sales manager. “We foresee a lot of potential in the area of scrap recycling and this is a particularly challenging time for that market, given the price of scrap today. However, the strength of Genesis’ attachments is their ability to increase productivity and add to the bottom line — those are very powerful selling points right now.”

Coastline Equipment is headquartered in Long Beach, Calif., and operates branches in Lancaster, Sylmar, Santa Ana, Oxnard, Santa Maria and Bakersfield, as well as a crane operations branch in Sacramento.

“Having Coastline onboard is an outstanding plus for us,” said Shane Kuhlmey, Genesis’ sales manager. “They are a respected, knowledgeable presence in a number of key markets including construction and recycling. We look forward to working with them and growing our customer base in the areas they serve.”

Genesis Attachments is one of the nation’s leading manufacturers of high-quality excavator attachments for use in scrap processing, demolition, and material handling industries.
