Construction Machinery Company has announced the appointment of Kent Able as vice president of sales and rentals effective April 1.

Able has more than 30 years' experience in the construction equipment industry in the Louisville, Ky., market, and spent the past 17 years with a John Deere Construction and Forestry dealer, where he held various positions.

"We are excited to welcome Kent and look forward to his experience and knowledge in the Louisville and southern Indiana market," the company said in a statement.

"I look forward to the new challenge," Able said. "CMC has a great reputation in the industry and are dealers for some of the best equipment manufacturers in the construction market. They have a tremendous amount of experience in the market and a very strong customer base.

"We will continue to take care of our customers and provide the best equipment and product support to match. We will always strive to exceed the customer's expectations."
