Cook Celebrates 50th Anniversary

Cook Equipment Company hosted an open house to celebrate its 50th anniversary May 1. The event took place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the company’s Fullerton facility located at 1451 S. Manhattan Avenue in Fullerton, Calif.

The open house featured demonstrations of the JCB GT, the world’s fastest backhoe, and the JCB “Dancing Diggers.” The JCB GT — a drag racing backhoe loader fitted with 1,000 hp (745 kW) engine capable of doing speeds in excess of 100 mph (161 kmh) — was introduced in Las Vegas at the 2005 ConExpo-Con/AGG.

Additionally, attendees witnessed JCB product demonstrations and enjoyed equipment service clinics. Door prizes and free food were available.
