Curb Roller Manufacturing announced the release of the Batt Screed Gen II (Model 6200).

Building on the success of the original Batt Screed 6000, this updated model gives contractors more speed, power and flexibility on the job site, according to the company.

The new Batt Screed 6200 is engineered for today's demanding flatwork and curb applications, offering:

• increased RPMs for smoother, faster screeding;

• heavier, more durable build for enhanced stability and reliability;

• expanded battery compatibility, now natively accepting 15Ah batteries for longer runtimes; and

• adaptability for monolithic curb machines, making it the most versatile battery-powered screed in its class.

Like its predecessor, the Batt Screed Gen II is powered by DeWalt Flexvolt batteries, eliminating the need for cords or generators and giving contractors the freedom to pour anywhere, according to the company.

With its quick setup and operator-friendly design, the 6200 helps crews increase production without having to add additional labor — an essential advantage in today's competitive labor-short construction industry, according to the company.

"Contractors told us they loved the simplicity and portability of the Batt Screed, but they wanted more speed, more runtime and the ability to adapt to more applications," said Seth Ulmer, sales manager of Curb Roller Manufacturing. "The Gen II 6200 delivers exactly that — while maintaining the same ease of use our customers expect."

The Batt Screed Gen II will continue to be compatible with SCH40 aluminum pipe as well as Curb Roller's modular Lynx screed system.

The Batt Screed 6200 is available now through Curb Roller Manufacturing's dealer network or direct.
