The Diamond Mowers DM360 is transforming the municipal maintenance category by merging Diamond's boom with a platform, according to the company.

"This municipal maintenance machine delivers unmatched visibility, stability and adaptability to redefine what a dedicated roadside carrier can do and set a new standard for multipurpose public works performance," said Diamond Mowers.

Developed in partnership with municipalities, DOTs, drainage districts and fire mitigation teams, the DM360 is designed for real-world versatility and operator safety. At its core is a rotating cab and boom system that moves in unison to give operators a full 360-degree view of their surroundings. This synchronized rotation allows for safer, more comfortable operation — especially when working just feet from traffic or along steep embankments — helping reduce fatigue, minimize blind spots and improve precision, according to the company.

The DM360's patented engine placement in the lower chassis creates a uniquely low center of gravity, ensuring optimal balance and stability even when the boom is fully extended. A built-in stabilizer further enhances control on uneven or soft terrain, while the slimmer 99-in. profile makes it easy to maneuver through narrow corridors. Together, these design elements create a carrier that feels more intuitive and controlled in any environment., according to Diamond Mowers.

Inside the cab, dual-joystick excavator controls help shorten the learning curve for new operators and reduce fatigue for seasoned ones. Three steering modes — two-wheel, four-wheel and crab — provide precise handling in challenging spaces, while safety features like a Level II FOPS cab guard, .5-in. polycarbonate panels and reinforced roof protection ensure visibility never compromises protection, said Diamond Mowers.

Municipalities need to maximize the value of every asset, and the DM360 delivers true year-round utility, added Diamond Mowers. Available in 25- and 30-ft. boom configurations, the carrier supports mowing, ditching, mulching, grading and snow removal through quick-change functionality and robust hydraulics. The DM360X package expands that utility with a universal skid-steer plate, lifting arm and 40 GPM high-flow circuit, allowing seamless integration with Diamond's SK-series drum mulchers, stump grinders and other attachments. This multi-season adaptability increases asset utilization across municipal departments and drives a stronger ROI, according to the company.

As Diamond's first entry into the dedicated carrier space, the DM360 represents a significant engineering milestone, the company said, adding, "Every element, from its rotating cab to its modular attachment system, is built with intention and precision, offering the safety, comfort and productivity municipalities have long demanded but rarely found in a single platform."

The impact extends well beyond performance, too. The DM360 reduces operator strain, minimizes reversing and idle time and improves environmental efficiency by cutting fuel use and emissions. Supported by Diamond Mowers' single-source warranty, service and parts network, owners benefit from streamlined support and long-term dependability.

In a field where equipment reliability directly affects infrastructure safety and efficiency, the DM360 introduces both a new machine and a smarter way of working, the company said, adding, "By combining innovation, engineering excellence and scalable versatility, Diamond Mowers' DM360 stands as the future of municipal maintenance as a safer, more sustainable solution that works in every season and from every angle."
