Dynapac announced the launch of the NEXUS Job Site Documentation Suite, a solution designed to integrate construction machinery into a fully digital workflow.
By leveraging big data, NEXUS optimizes planning, execution and real-time analysis for soil compaction and asphalt construction, ensuring superior quality and efficiency.
Efficiency Through Integration
The stability of earth and asphalt layers depends on precise execution. NEXUS supports construction managers throughout the entire process — compaction, asphalt planning, temperature control and reporting — with all data available in real-time. Compatible with Dynapac machines and third-party equipment, NEXUS delivers flexibility for mixed fleets.
Key Features
NEXUS Connectivity Kit
The Nexus Link Module, part of the NEXUS prep kit, stores machine-specific settings during pre-installation. This enables any Nexus Display to work seamlessly across machines without manual setup.
Modular System for Mixed Fleets
NEXUS offers tailored software for pavers and rollers, plus sensors and accessories. Data from all machines — regardless of brand — can be processed together in real-time via Dynapac's Open Interface.
Available Accessories Include:
• 3rd Party Kits — Integrate non-Dynapac machines.
• Truck Recognition and Temperature Monitoring — Automate logistics and ensure precise unloading temperatures.
• Thermal Mapping Kit — Accurate thermal data behind the screed.
• Compaction Sensors — Synchronize measurements across fleets.
• Infrared Asphalt Temperature Sensor — Contactless monitoring during roller passes.
Software Tools
The NEXUS ecosystem combines machine hardware with Nexus Cloud, NexusWeb and NexusDoc:
• NexusWeb — Plan projects, track progress and set targets in real time.
• NexusDoc — Advanced civil engineering tools for modular reporting.
Data Captured Includes:
• asphalt temperature behind the screed;
• paved surface geometry;
• roller passes and compaction data; and
• machine performance metrics.
