Doosan Portable Power has named Liftech Equipment Companies of Syracuse, N.Y., an authorized dealer of its entire line of mobile construction equipment. Liftech will offer Ingersoll Rand-branded line of air compressors, generators, light compaction equipment and lighting systems from its Buffalo and Rochester locations in western New York.

“We approached Doosan Portable Power because of the name recognition and quality of the Ingersoll Rand brand,” said Joe Verzino, president of Liftech Equipment. “They have a good customer base in New York and those customers have been looking for strong support.”

Liftech Equipment Companies provides full sales, rental, parts and service of industrial and construction equipment. The company began in 1964 as a division of Syracuse Supply serving the lift truck and material handling industry. In 1988, the division broke off from Syracuse and incorporated into Liftech Equipment Companies. Today, Liftech serves the construction and industrial markets, as well as distribution, agriculture and lumber markets by providing everything from heavy earthmoving equipment and aerial work platforms to lift trucks and pressure washers.

The addition of Doosan Portable Power products fills the need of portable equipment for Liftech’s current customers, as well as providing the opportunity to call on more construction customers and municipalities in the western New York area.
