Dozer Day 25 in Vancouver, Wash., from Oct. 4-5, 2025, proved to be an overwhelming success.

Dozer Day is an interactive event where attendees can operate real construction equipment under expert supervision. It's designed as a fun, educational experience highlighting the industry's impact on communities while inspiring future builders.

Not only was there a successful career fair the day before the event that welcomed more than 900 students – with 53 company sponsors — but there was picture-perfect weather that kept spirits high, as did a new pit layout that had operators, volunteers and families smiling.

In addition, there were 750 tickets donated to VetTix, giving local veterans and their families a chance to enjoy Dozer Day.

Some details about the event:

• There were 3,000 families invited from Title I schools to experience Dozer Day and learn about career paths in the construction industry.

• There were 10,238 tickets sold, 82 company sponsors, 352 volunteers, 63,871 website visits, 6,232 social media followers and 81,011 profiles reached on social media advertising

• Aside from extensive local media coverage, CBS News provided national coverage.

• Dozer Dan, the Dozer Day mascot, was introduced.

• Dozer Day Paves The Way had an author read along in English, Spanish and Russian followed by the pages of the book coming to life — a new tool the event is using to spark interest in the construction industry.
