DuraClass Has Bedrock Dump Body

June 15, 2011 - National Edition
Construction Equipment Guide

The DuraClass Bedrock dump body’s contemporary design features high strength materials for dent resistance and durability, rugged good looks and oversized box bracing for added strength, according to the manufacturer.

The elliptical floor radius eases impact from large objects and provides smooth dumping action. A rigid tailgate provides performance in the field and Hardox 450 steel is used throughout the floor, sides and rear to offer durability while maintaining a low weight to maximize payload. The I-Beam Understructure gives maximum floor support.

Standard features include horizontal rear braces and a ½ cab shield. The DuraClass Bedrock is available in lengths from 13 to 21 ft. (4 to 6.4 m).

A heated understructure is available for cold-weather applications and the optional aluminum fenders reduce weight to increase payload. Side height options include 42, 48 and 54 in. (106, 122 and 137 cm), while rear height options include 48, 54 and 60 in. (122, 137 and 152 cm). The Bedrock also is available with a ¾ cab shield.

All Bedrock bodies come standard with an inverted telescopic hoist to reduce the doghouse and it maximizes payloads through a lighter weight design and increases capacities as a result of high-pressure hydraulics. A premium rear hinge design includes a wide pedestal style, lubricated hinges and solid pins.

DuraClass technology and design dates back more than a century and today, DuraClass continues to build on those traditions. DuraClass continues to manufacture from its primary production facility in Tishomingo, Miss.

DuraClass designs and manufactures a comprehensive line of Class 3 to 8 dump bodies, hoists and related equipment for a wide range of applications including landscaping, material hauling, demolition and mining and construction.
