The EDGE pickup/hopper broom with a waterless dust abatement system is a cost-effective investment for contractors and rental houses. It provides enhanced performance in milling applications, material pickup, parking lot, road maintenance and job-site cleanup, according to the manufacturer. This unit works well for indoor application cleanup, as it features a “waterless” dust abatement system.
The pickup/ hopper broom with a waterless dust abatement system features:
- A large industrial filter, eliminating potentially large dust clouds
- 12 volt shaker dislodges loose debris from the filter directly into the hopper
- A slotted brush assembly allowing the brush to move vertically for ease of operation
- A hydraulic cylinder that drops the bucket floor when dumping dirt and debris
- Two caster wheels mounted on the side toward the front of the broom to prevent the user from rolling too far forward, preventing damage to the skirting and the frame
The EDGE pickup/hopper broom with a waterless dust abatement system comes complete with hoses and couplers as well as a bolt-on cutting edge to fit most compact loaders. This unit is available in 60, 72 and 84 in. (152, 182 and 213 cm) widths.
