 Mr. Brisk was in business for more than 50 years.

Edmund Brisk, owner of Brisk Bros., died on May 17, 2018, at age 91.

Mr. Brisk was born on Nov. 24, 1926, in Morrison County, Minn., to Mike Peter and Rosie Brisk. He was a United States Army Veteran.

Mr. Brisk was known by family, friends and coworkers as a hard worker. He owned and operated Brisk Bros. and completed construction jobs all over the Midwest.

According to Mr. Brisk's daughter, Debra Brisk, as recently as April 2018, Mr. Brisk was still asking for bids he could make and work he could complete, even after more than 50 years in business.

Debra Brisk also recalled construction work on the Gunflint Trail as one of the most famous projects Mr. Brisk worked on. Mr. Brisk completed the last 3 mi. of this trail.

Mr. Brisk is survived by his wife, Bertha “Muggs” Brisk; his children, James (Sandra) Brisk of Little Falls, JoAnne (Pat McLain) of Canby, Nancy Brisk of Wayzata, David Brisk of Alaska, Debra Brisk (Kip Wyse) of Buffalo, Maribeth Brisk (Larry Syme) of Bullhead City, Ariz.; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; siblings Bernard (Marion) of Pierz, Raymond (Irene) of Little Falls, Virgil (Babe) of Little Falls and Amelia of Pierz.

Mr. Brisk was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings Archie, Butch, Richard and Lucy.
