ESCO develops and manufactures some of the most advanced tooth systems for the construction, aggregate and utility markets and the company's latest innovation is the Vertasys Tooth System.

The Vertasys Tooth System was developed using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and in-house computer simulation that was followed by extensive field testing to fine-tune the system and verify performance excellence customers expect from ESCO, according to the company.

The result is a stronger high-performance, simple-to-use system that features a unique vertical lock integrated into the point for in-field replacement that is easier than ever before. Locking and unlocking the point only requires a quick 90-degree rotation with an off-the-shelf hex ratchet.

The enhanced nose profile is not only stronger than previous systems but is significantly less susceptible to fatigue failure allowing operation in the most demanding applications, according to ESCO. Another important feature is the specialized design that allows the same adapter style to be used on both wheel loaders and excavators with lower weld requirements than conventional adapters designs.

According to ESCO, key advantages include:

• locking mechanism with stronger points and adapters;

• increased point, adapter and lock strength delivers greater system reliability;

• easy-to-use system with improved ergonomic installation and removal;

• reduction in SKUs with an integrated lock and multi-use adapters;

• advanced point profiles cast in superior ESCO alloys; and

• leading support and technical assistance.

In addition to featuring the new Vertasys Tooth System at ConExpo-Con/AGG 2026, the company will showcase the latest in ESCO construction buckets and attachments, hydraulic couplers, crusher wear parts, blades, end bits and cutting edges, abrasive-resistant wear materials and other high-performance products. Also at ESCO's ConExpo exhibit, attendees can learn how Motion Metrics products improve quarry productivity and efficiency while increasing safety and decreasing operational downtime associated with crusher jams and equipment maintenance.

ESCO Group LLC is a designer, manufacturer and provider of highly engineered wear and replacement products and services essential to the performance of equipment used in mining, construction and industrial applications.

ESCO celebrated its 100-year anniversary in 2013. In the past 100 years, ESCO has continually produced products for its customers, according to the company. Acquired in 2018, ESCO is now a division of The Weir Group.
