Have you ever wanted to know what it's like to use farm equipment or harvest crops? Extreme Sandbox's newest adventure, Extreme Harvest Experience, will get people away from their day job and onto the farm.

A partnership between local farmers with thousands of acres in the Hastings area and Randy Stenger, CEO/founder of the Hastings-based adventure company, is helping to bring the good 'ole fashion farming experience to those interested in getting behind the wheel. The public is invited to come drive and operate a brand-new Lexion 730 Combine and other tractors during a REAL harvest, but only for a limited time. Soybeans and corn will primarily be harvested.

"We've been creating an awesome construction experience for people for years while helping to develop a real appreciation for the industry," said Stenger. "We thought it'd be great to do the same for farmers. No one really gets to experience the machines; being in the field hands-on. Farming is important to Minnesota. What a cool way to see what it's like while also bringing some deserved attention to those that help us put food on the table."

With only about six weeks to the primary fall harvesting season, which runs roughly the first week of October through mid-November, time is practically running out! Orders must be purchased by Oct. 31 via www.extremesandbox.com or by calling (855) DIG 4 FUN. Schedule is liable to change based on weather and availability.

Experience Details:

 (2) hour adventure for (1) participant for $495 OR (2) participants for $595. Includes operating time in two different pieces of equipment during a real harvest

 Includes transportation to and from local farm (10-15 minutes from Sandbox)

 Includes 30 min of training and safety briefings
