The heavy, heavy duty pole setter is capable of pulling and setting poles up to 100 ft. (30.5 m) long and weighing 10,000 lbs. (4,536 kg). The heavy, heavy duty pole setter is made to be attached to excavators or large wheel loaders and easily sets large transmission poles with its 127 degree rotation. The heavy, heavy duty pole setter also has an optional hand tamper circuit to allow a line-crew to tamp a pole without the need for another hydraulic line.

The heavy, heavy duty pole setter comes standard with jaws meant to handle larger transmission poles but inserts may be purchased from EZ SPOT UR to handle smaller distribution poles.
