There is a special bond between fathers and daughters and that relationship is especially evident in the John Alexander family.

Alexander is the used equipment manager of Alban Tractor located in Baltimore, Md., and recently his daughter Megan joined him as administrative assistant to the used equipment coordinator.

Her duties include assisting in the day-to-day business of the used equipment department, which includes updating the Web site, filing and distributing paperwork throughout other departments.

Megan’s interest in heavy construction equipment began at an early age due to her father’s job at Alban Tractor, a Caterpillar dealer.

“My interest in Cat equipment started from childhood with just being around heavy equipment with my father being in the business. When everybody else was looking at scenery while driving, we were looking at construction sites to see what machines were Cat, what customer was on site and to see if they had an Alban decal,” she said.

“I’m thrilled to have my daughter so interested in used equipment and follow in the family footsteps and to give her heart to this position,” said John.
