The FXT440 crawler mulcher had joined FECON’s line of FTX track carriers.
Powered with a 440-hp Caterpillar engine and equipped with the Bull Hog BH350 mulcher, the FTX440 is perfect for landclearing, R.O.W. maintenance, pasture restoration, firebreaks and vegetation management.
The FXT440 crawler delivers maximum power to the mulcher through a PTO driveline protected with a fluid coupler.
The FXT440 features a synchronized interface between the mulcher and the crawler that allows a full range of motion for tackling standing, fallen or piled vegetation.
Other features include: a comfortable cab with .5-in. thick Lexan Marguard windows for added visibility; a tilt-out rear window; dual joystick control; analogue and IQAN digital displays; and exterior lighting is provided to allow maximum productivity for an entire shift.
Maintenance for the FTX440 is easy with the large doors, a sliding cab and a swing-out hydraulic cooler for fast and direct access to all service points. Four-track pad options are offered for varying customer needs and conditions.
