As part of an ongoing effort to ensure sustainable, profitable growth, Five Star Equipment has created the new positions of corporate sales manager and forestry and key accounts manager. Both positions have been filled through employee promotions.

Brian McGuire has been named the forestry and key accounts manager. McGuire started his career in the company's Athens store when it opened in 2011 as the parts department manager. During his tenure with Five Star he has served many roles, including territory sales manager and the sales coordinator and key accounts manager.

In his new role, McGuire will provide corporate sales support for the commercial business division and joint accounts at all local branches, as well as support with the John Deere Forestry and Fecon product lines. He also will be managing relationships with assigned key accounts.

Brian Bishop has been named to the newly created position of corporate sales manager. Bishop joined Five Star Equipment in 2011 as the service manager of the Athens branch. He brings significant experience with Five Star's product line and customer interactions into his new role.
