Fluor Corporation announced Sept. 27 that the U.S. Navy has awarded Fluor the base operating support services contract at Joint Region Marianas, Guam. The award is an eight-year cost-plus award fee contract to include the base period, four option periods, three award option periods and a six-month services extension valued at approximately $495 million.

The contract was awarded through the Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Pacific, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. Fluor will provide comprehensive support services in various locations on the island including management and administration, port operations, ordnance, material and facility management, facility investment and general base support.
