Ander Foor of Chicago was recently named Midwest regional sales manager — construction of Topcon Positioning Systems (TPS).

In his position, Foor is responsible for working with Topcon dealers in Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Texas, Louisiana, Ohio, Maryland and Michigan, and parts of Missouri and Kentucky

Brian Juroff, TPS national sales manager, said, “Ander worked directly for an excellent dealer in the TPS network and brings a wealth of field experience to his position. It gives him the perfect perspective of ’been there, done that’ to work with dealers and customers throughout the Midwest.”

Prior to joining Topcon, Foor was territory manager and machine control specialist for Positioning Solutions Company of Chicago. In his sales position, he was named to the TPS Presidents Club in 2008 and was one of the Top Five in product sales in 2007.

Foor said, “Having worked closely with Topcon’s executive construction team for the past eight years, I know the professional approach they have in working with their dealer network, customers and potential customers. I am looking forward to using the experience and knowledge I have gained to be a valuable member of the TPS team.”

Before becoming a machine control specialist, Foor was events director for Outside Magazine, director of sales and marketing for Active Endeavors Inc., and territory sales manager for Tokos Medical Corporation, all located in the Chicago area.
