KPI-JCI, Kolberg Pioneer Inc. has developed the FT4250CC track mounted Impactor, engineered exactly with a 6 by 12 ft. (1.8 by 3.6 m) — two deck screen — making this one of the largest closed circuit screens with a horizontal shaft impactor (HSI) on tracks.

With a portable design, the FT4250CC matches the impactor with the screen for efficiency. The dual cross conveyors allow for up to three product screening.

The FT4250CC has an 18 ft. (5.5 m) feeder, which enables operators to easily load it with a loader or a backhoe to get maximum capacity. The machine also features a wide range of variable speed rotors making it cost efficient as well, according to the manufacturer.

“The two deck screen provides the efficiency and productivity that complements the aggressive 4250 MPR HSI to the maximum,” said Ron Griess, product manager at KPI-JCI, “This machine is a great asset for small contractors to large producers in road construction, asphalt recycling and anywhere you need to crush on site.”

The FT4250CC will fit on a lowboy trailer for easy site-to-site transport and has the flexibility to pair with other Astec FT track machines for a seamless processing system. With set up of less than 15 minutes, customers are able to process material at a lower cost.
