Geith’s Claw auto-lock quick hitch improved the adaptability of excavators, keeping operator efficiency and safety to the forefront.

The safety features of the Claw incorporates a hydraulic check valve, which, in the event of hydraulic failure, is backed up by a locking system preventing accidental release of the attachment.

During the design process for the Claw coupler, Geith engineers created a coupler system that would engage the four main operator senses during the working and changeover procedure.

Geith developed solutions that engages the visual, audio, tactile and reasoning senses of the operator to enhance the operators interactivity with the coupler and enable complete monitoring of the status of the attachment connection at all times during operation cycle.

The coupler structure contains high strength materials and cast steel components, which minimizes weight and maximizes the operation life cycle. The compact design of the hitch promotes performance and safety yet does not sacrifice excavator performance, according to the manufacturer.
