George & Swede Sales & Service held its annual open house and customer appreciation day July 28 at its facility located on 7155 Big Tree Road, Pavilion, N.Y.
Food, refreshments and product demonstrations were the order of the day. George & Swede represents established equipment manufacturers including Kawasaki, Link-Belt, Interstate Trailers, Hyundai and Yanmar.
Over the past few years as farms have become larger there also has been increased interest from farmers in purchasing construction equipment. To round out its offering to these large farms, George & Swede has expanded its product lines to include agricultural tractors from manufacturers such as McCormick and LS Tractor USA.
Despite dreary weather, attendance was very strong as western New York contractors, municipalities and farmers gathered for some great food and a better understanding of the equipment they use each day.
