J.W. Burress hosted a Gradall Road Show at its Charlotte branch on Friday, March 30, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

More than 100 area contractors came in to see and operate the three Gradall models that were on hand. The models included Gradall XL3100, XL3200 and XL3300. The Gradall XL3100 is road legal at highway speeds. The XL3200 is a track version with the same upper as the XL3100 and XL3300, but with a crawler undercarriage. The XL3300 is a heavy-duty off-road model with wheels and a dozer blade. All three models share a common carrier with Cummins power.

A full contention of Gradall factory personnel was on hand to answer any specific question about the new engineering that went into the design of the machines.

Ben Cockerham, area manager, and the entire J.W. Burress team, were very pleased with the turnout of the contractors and municipalities. “All three models offer new hydraulics, faster cycle time and the same maneuverability, controlability and versatility that Gradall is famous for,” he said.

J.W. Burress also served lunch at the event which included barbecue, cakes, cookies and all the soda pop a person could drink.

The sun was shining and so were the contractors faces after they operated the machines. J.W. Burress reported that they received many leads from contractors who were in attendance.

This is the second road show the company has held this year. This same event was hosted in all J.W. Burress’ facilities in North Carolina and Virginia. The company is the authorized Gradall distributor in North Carolina and Virginia.
