Construction Equipment Guide

Grasan’s largest road-portable rubble crushing plant, the KRH1515, features the Hazemag APPH primary impact crusher with a fully automatic, hydraulic cylinder system that provides increased crusher capacity (up to 600 tons per hour [544.3 t]), smoother operation and more uniform products. Typical applications include on-site crushing of concrete and asphalt rubble and excavated rock at road construction and repaving operations.

Crusher adjustments have been simplified so that no tools are needed. The crusher inlet is 45 in. high (114.3 cm), 10 in. (25.4 cm) higher than previous models, to handle larger sizes of incoming concrete and asphalt rubble and C&D debris; and a hydraulic moveable inlet base helps clear jamming and bridging. The hydraulic inlet hood is secured with wedge pins for easy opening and closing.

Side liners in the crusher have been reduced from seven shapes to three standardized shapes, and all multi-blocks have been made interchangeable. The feeder pan under the crusher discharges out the side for improved handling of wire mesh and rebar. A grizzly bypass chute makes it easy to reject or keep undersize material. A skid-on, skid-off hopper and six independent hydraulic support legs facilitate easy setup and tear down without a crane in approximately 30 minutes. The KRH155 can be run on diesel or electric power.
