On June 3, Hank Emilsson joined the Alban CAT team as an international used equipment sales representative. He is responsible for the sale and purchase of used Caterpillar Heavy Construction Equipment, both nationally (outside Alban’s territory) and internationally.
Before coming to Alban, Emilsson owned a heavy construction equipment company in Sweden — Scandinavia Machinery Company. He came to the United States from Sweden in 1984 with only $1,000. He established Continental Equipment Inc. in 1985, where he sold heavy construction equipment both in the United States and internationally.
Emilsson believes his experiences have been the American Dream. He had no special training, he taught himself about the equipment, mechanics, market and sales necessary to succeed.
