Heavy equipment operators, superintendents, field crew members, subcontractors and employees from all different backgrounds and specialties joined forces to assist with clean-up efforts for those hardest hit by Hurricane Harvey.
Harbor Bridge Project crew members with Flatiron/Dragados LLC. (FDLLC), traveled to Rockport as soon as the storm passed and it was deemed safe, to help with recovery operations. The crews worked alongside recovery workers from all over the state, removing debris, cutting down trees and clearing driveways.
One of the biggest jobs included the repair of a critical communications tower needed for use by first responders. One of the most heart-warming, was the clearing of debris and clean-up of a daycare facility for special needs children.
FDLLC employees described the recovery assistance process as a very “humbling” experience. Heartfelt gratitude goes out to all employees that were able to assist with clean-up efforts on behalf of the HBP family. The entire HBP team continues to hold our Coastal Bend neighbors in our thoughts and prayers.
