Hitachi Construction Machinery has spent more than 75 years defining what true reliability means on modern job sites. At ConExpo 2026, the company said it will redefine what innovation means for the next 100 years. Its history of Japanese engineering and manufacturing excellence along with their technological solutions will be on display at their expansive booth in the Festival Grounds at Booth F19012.

The booth will exhibit a fusion of past and future that the company said is sure to impress attendees with a sneak peek at the company's future as LANDCROS, offering solutions beyond machinery.

Same Trust, New Decal

In October 2025, Hitachi Construction Machinery announced that beginning April 2027, its official corporate and brand name will change to LANDCROS.

The company will maintain the "same manufacturing excellence, dealer support and business practices its customers have always relied on, while focusing on the job sites of the future," according to Hitachi.

At its ConExpo booth, Hitachi Construction Machinery will exhibit the "reliable machines that customers have come to know and trust, while also showcasing what they can expect from machine models of the future."

The company has a deep historical connection to the land its equipment works in. Since 1950, Hitachi Construction Machinery has been "pioneering excavator engineering. Throughout its history they have engineered many industry firsts, including the first mid-size hydraulic excavator," according to the company.

Hitachi added, "this history of groundbreaking innovation will be seen inside a two-story building within its booth with key details about the company's manufacturing legacy on display."

As the company looks toward the future, one thing it doesn't want to leave behind is its attention to detail for customers. The company said it will continue to provide tailored solutions that assist customers throughout their entire journey.

The customer journey will be on display throughout the booth as attendees walk through a peaceful exhibit of machines, attachments and technology that meet various customer needs.

Hitachi Construction Machinery is "synonymous with reliability. With its future as LANDCROS, that is a value that will continue to shape its solutions," said the company adding, "With the solutions that will be on display, attendees can expect a reinforcement of the reliability they have come to expect."

The real "showstopper" at its booth this year will be the company's open collaboration on technological solutions. The company understands that "technology is the future of job sites and believes that working in open partnership with group companies that are experts in technology will set it apart from the competition."

Attendees can expect to "see and demo next-generation technology that is sure to revolutionize the equipment industry," Hitachi said.

Hitachi Construction Machinery began as a solutions provider. As LANDCROS, the company said it will continue to be focused on providing solutions that generate lasting value through generations.

At ConExpo 2026, Hitachi Construction Machinery said it will connect the harmony that drives its manufacturing excellence to the innovation that is driving its future as LANDCROS.
