H.O. Penn Announces New President, CEO

On Jan, 3, 2011, Tom Cleveland, chairman of the board of H.O. Penn Machinery Company Inc., announced that Jeff Mitchell had been named president of the dealership. Mitchell began his career at H.O. Penn in 1987, initially joining the company in the product support area. After successfully taking on numerous other positions throughout the company, he was named vice-president of product support in 1995 and then executive vice-president in 1998.

“This is in recognition of the outstanding work Jeff does for us, particularly in these difficult economic times,” said Cleveland.

In addition, Cleveland announced that Rob Cleveland has been named CEO of H.O. Penn. Rob’s first position was credit representative of the Bronx, N.Y. branch in 1995. His career then progressed on to several other departments before being named branch manager of the newly opened Bloomingburg, N.Y. facility in 2004. After a successful term in this role, he was promoted to president in 2006.

H.O. Penn is the exclusive Caterpillar Dealership for Connecticut and lower New York State. The company is a family-owned and managed business that has been dedicated to providing outstanding service to its customers since 1923. It operates out of five locations: Holtsville, Bronx, Bloomingburg and Poughkeepsie, N.Y., and Newington, Connecticut.
