Worth & Company Inc., a full service mechanical systems provider for the mid-Atlantic region, announces that safety director William Hurst has been elected to serve on the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter Board of Directors for a three-year term.

Hurst began his career at Worth & Company in 1989 and has more than 40 years of industry experience. Responsible for the operation of the company's safety department, he implements policies, procedures and programs strategically aligned with national safety requirements and standards. Through his education, training and involvement with the Mid-Atlantic Construction Safety Council and Associated Builders and Contractors, Hurst has been instrumental in raising the level of safety knowledge and compliance on all job sites. He is fully certified in the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt program and is a current member and past chairman of the ABC Eastern Pennsylvania Safety Committee.
