Illinois Equipment Distributors welcomed 59 of its members to the Marquis Room of the Marriott Oak Brook Hotel on Friday, Dec. 7.
The meeting honored Past Presidents, introduced new officers and celebrated the upcoming holiday season.
Jim Baker, president of IED for 2001, was honored with a plaque for his service, and the symbolic gavel was passed to Marty Ahrendt, incoming president of IED for 2002.
The slate of new officers introduced at the event also included Lamont Cantrell, vice president, Roland Machinery; Dennis Kruepke, treasurer, McCann Industries; Hugh Goulding, executive secretary, E TIP Inc.; Jim Baker, first year director, Cummins Northern Illinois; and Junior Kool, second year director, Vermeer-Illinois.
