Compactasphalt Can Place Two Layers in Single Pass

Compactasphalt, developed by Dynapac, allows the simultaneous laying of two different layers in a single pass. Both the upper asphalt layers — the wearing and binder courses — are laid and compacted simultaneously “hot-on-hot.”As a result, the new concept provides a better interlocking of the two courses ensuring increased life expectancy, higher deformation resistance and lower maintenance costs, according to the manufacturer....

Dynapac has launched a range of new tandem asphalt rollers, which include three new high frequency (HF) tandem asphalt rollers covering the 10- to 13-ton (9 to 11 t) range.
