Purchase Puts Michigan John Deere Under New Ownership
Deere & Company has confirmed that Nortrax Inc. has sold its operations in Michigan to JDE Equipment Company. The transaction took effect Nov. 20.
According to JDE Equipment General Manager Bill McDaniel, JDE will serve all but five counties in lower Michigan, with John Deere construction equipment, Hitachi (including mining equipment), and the Eager Beaver trailer line.
“We’ll sell anything from skid steer loaders to very large mining equipment,” McDaniel said of JDE’s range of products....

JCB Entertains, Educates at Third Savannahfest
JCB hosted its third annual Savannahfest the week of Oct. 13 through 17 at its North American headquarters and manufacturing plant in Savannah, GA. Since it began, the event has been an opportunity for hundreds of JCB customers to come to Savannah with their local JCB dealer to tour the plant, operate equipment, experience the equipment show, get to know the people behind the scenes at the company and enjoy lots of good food and entertainment.

Tri-Supply Sells First JCB 714 in the Mid-Atlantic Region
Tri-Supply & Equipment, based in New Castle, DE, recently sold the first JCB 714 articulated dump truck in the Mid-Atlantic region to Artesian Water Company, of Wilmington, DE.
