Contractors now have the option of choosing the BLS Poly Bolt-On Tufpads track pads, made by BLS Enterprises Inc. of Itasca, Ill., factory-installed on their Ingersoll Rand milling machines.

Choosing polyurethane track pads instead of rubber will provide contractors with longer wear, according to the manufacturer.

With the added benefits of the bolt-on style, contractors will save up to 50 percent on replacement costs by reusing the steel triple grouser shoes and 25 to 35 percent on replacement labor time due to the ease of installation and removal.

Another option now available from BLS are the new Tufpads Blues track pads.

These new track pads, distinguishable by their blue material, have proven through actual field tests on asphalt milling machines to outlast the premium black polyurethane track pads by 15 to 30 percent, according to the manufacturer.
