A recent revision to the Ingersoll Rand XHP1170FCAT air compressor now allows it to have a smaller footprint without decreasing the power of the machine.

The XHP1170FCAT is less than 13 ft. (3.9 m) in length. The previous model was 15 ft. 4 in. (4.7 m). The Ingersoll Rand XHP1170FCAT now provides the highest power density per square foot in the 350 psi (24.15 bar) range within the smallest footprint available on the market, according to the manufacturer.

The more compact size provides additional space on a trailer for other equipment and enables customers to save money on logistics in transporting the air compressor and using it on a job site.

Doosan Infracore Portable Power also provides enhanced factory-installed options with the revised XHP1170FCAT. These options include a spark arrestor, battery, day fuel tank and frame isolators.

The XHP1170FCAT provides a free air delivery of 1,170 cu. ft. (33.1 cu m) per minute.
