Isuzu has proven itself for 100 years and with the number one cab-forward truck since 1986 and more than 20 million diesel engines worldwide, Isuzu Red Tech has become the next logical step to who it is in the marketplace, according to the company.

“We have always been known for reliable, eco-friendly, durable, and technologically advanced diesel engines,” said John Dutcher, director of sales and marketing, Isuzu Motors America LLC. “What we are doing now is packaging these benefits in a more memorable way for our top-of-the-line Tier IV diesel engines under Isuzu Red Tech.”

“Isuzu Red Tech focuses on our fuel-efficient, low noise and maintenance-free diesel engines that are designed to meet our customers exact requirements,” said, Atsumi Morita, vice president, PowerTrain Marketing, Product Planning and Purchasing, Isuzu Motors America LLC.

Known for being reliable, environmentally friendly, durable and technologically superior, Isuzu Diesel engines have performed in every environment and customer application needed. Isuzu Diesel plans to continue this proven customer focus by providing diesel engines for today and into the future, according to the company.

From its beginning, Isuzu has been concerned about the earth. Its Eco-friendly Isuzu diesel engines have no DPF (diesel particulate filter) and therefore require no DPF maintenance. These precision designed engines have fewer gaskets, which helps eliminate oil leaks that can cause pollution. Isuzu engines are equipped with a damper technology for low load environments and dual NOx sensors to begin meeting 2017 EPA mandates. Isuzu engines are tested throughout their life cycle to help ensure Eco-friendly performance.

Isuzu Diesel Engines are built durable because of an optimized robust fuel injection system with efficient distribution, including a precise cylinder-to-liner fit, which enhances proper combustion and eliminates excessive oil consumption throughout the life of the engine.

Using advanced technology, each application can be fine-tuned to meet customer-specific requirements and are engineering validated to each environment. Isuzu, together with engineering partners like Bosch, Denso, and Mahle — who provide specific technology — ensure future advancements to help eliminate downtime.
