J&J Truck Bodies & Trailers and J&J Truck Equipment, divisions of Somerset Welding & Steel, announced that Jason Yantus has been appointed quality assurance manager. In this capacity, Yantus will be responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of all quality assurance systems and activities for both companies. He also will implement programs to ensure that the company's ISO 9001:2015 ABS Quality Evaluations Certificate of Conformance is executed and monitored.
Yantus will report to Joe Caldrone, director of operations, who said, "We are excited to bring Jason onboard and we are confident that he will successfully oversee our quality management program which guarantees the adherence of the following four key elements in our day-to-day operations: customer satisfaction, high quality products, on-time delivery and continuous improvement."
Prior to joining J&J, Yantus worked at Leiss Tool & Die, where he was responsible for quality control, building and inspection of ASME pressure vessels, engineering, and project management.
